Very moving and meaningful movie, July 7 2004

I actually just watched this movie last night, I was expecting a movie more focused on the actual shooting and the shooter but it wasn't. It was focused on the strange and deepening relationship between the two main characters. This movie was rather long but you never noticed how long until it was over, I don't feel as though it dragged on at all. It really kept you hooked up to the last minute. It was a very beautifully and wonderfully made movie. I was very impressed to learn that it was an independent movie because it was done so well. The story was great the way it was told and I absolutely loved this movie. It really does change your perspective on people and you realize that someone may be mean or different but it may be for a reason--you have no idea what happens in other people's lives and this movie really makes you see that. I recommend that everyone go see this movie--if you go rent it, it's only like $4 or $5 and it's WELL worth it!

Boring, slow pace, cliche, Jun 12 2004

I don't see why this movie is highly rated. Very unlikable, simple characters, predicatble story - could have been told in 44 min tv show.

Everyone has a story, April 12 2004

OMG! This movie kicks! It's complete irony til the end. K, there's this terrible shooting @ school. The only one who saw the whole thing is this "goth" chick named Alicia. Well, the police and the principle want her to tell them exactly what happened... she doesn't give a s***. Well, the days go by.The police come, blah blah blah.... she ends up at a funeral for one of the students that were killed. Hates it there. Ends up at a hospital to sit with one of the injured students. The girl's name is Deanna. What seems like an " I hate you, You hate me" relationship blooms into a real friendship. But for some reason, Alicia hates the hospital. But why??? and since she hates it so much, why does she keep coming back to visit some prep?? Like i said earlier, the story is complete irony to the last seens... The question still stands, why does Alicia hate the hospital so much? especially that particular room, room # 201. I'll let you figure it out. There's a touching ending, so get your tissues ready!!!!!!! I urge anyone who has ever felt alone or has ever hated someone b/c of what they look like, i promise, it'll change your perspective... b/c EVERYONE HAS A STORY...
