The magnet in the 19 inch wall mounted knife rack I purchased is strong enough that even my chef's knife is safely attached. It comfortably holds all the knives I require in my daily meal preparations plus equipment like kitchen scissors, grater, and zestor. The same item in other on-line stores was several dollars more and shipping was not included plus the turn around time from date of purchase to receipt was excellent. Thanks Amazon.ca for another good purchasing experience.

I have been looking for a magnetic knife rack for some time. There are very expensive ones out there. This one is solid and holds all my knives well. Great price for what you get!
