This review is from: Homeopathy For Menopause P (Paperback)
If you are looking for a good book about homeopathic treatment for menopause, I would recommend Menopause and Homeopathy: A Guide for Women in Midlife by Ifeoma Ikenze. Homeopathy for Menopause seems to subscribe to the archaic belief (among other archaic beliefs mentioned in the book) that empty-nest syndrome contributes to menopausal sympoms. Read Dr. Vliet's book, Screaming to Be Heard. Rathering than using current scientific / medical understanding of how hormones and decreasing levels of hormones cause symptoms, this book seems to give the impression that a woman should just "get over it". There are a few statements in the book that indicate very little understanding of the changes that women go through based on declining levels of many different hormones (not just estrogen and progesterone). It is sort of kind of useful as yet another source of information for homeopathic remedies but don't use it as a way to validate your own particular set of symptoms that the change may be causing - they don't understand enough of what is really happening and seem to want to impose their own thoughts on women who may be experiencing something else.
