Product Description

From Library Journal

Believing that "probably 75 percent of all problems encountered in one's daily life can be safely and efficiently dealt with through the use of only 29 [homeopathic] remedies," Papon, a practicing homeopath, clearly demystifies the contents of the "homeopathic household kit." Following a chapter on FAQs, remedies are arranged by area of the body; there are also sections on fever, male and female disorders, mental states, and sleep disorders. A handy primer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative, easy to follow, I recommend it!, Aug 12 2001

I have been using Homeopathy for my wellness for quite a few years now. Dr. Papon has written an easy to follow way to better wellness using Homeopathy. There are no side affects, it's natural, less expensive than traditional medicine and it works. If you're looking for a natural way of healing, buy the book and practice what the doc teaches. It's a very practical book!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW what a book, Dec 18 2007
By M. Chapin "mom860" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Homeopathy Made Simple: A Quick Reference Guide (Paperback)
In the beginning of this book "Homeopathy made simple" the Dr. tells you that when his daughter when to college she took a homeopathic kit but kept calling him all of the time for the "what do I take Dad" questions and he decided to write down a series of charts or guides for her to use with her kit. Well I am so glad that he decided too. It is the best book that I have ever purchased or even seen dealing with the practical use of homeopathy. It tells you the remedies that you should have in your kit and then it tells which ones you should take in the event of a health concern. The charts are broken down into different area's of your body and there are approximately 130 pages of symptons and the remedy. I am a layman when it comes to homeopathy, or should I say a mom and I am constantly being called upon for all kinds of boo boo's. I have used this book to help family and friends and quite a few of my friends have purchased this book. I keep it with my homeopathic kit and I use it myself and with wonderful result. If the first remedy doesn't work I go back to the book and re-evaluate my syptoms and this book has never let me down yet. We have warded off some really nasty stuff. If you want a book that gives you a really great in depth look at homeopathy, this book will not give you that, it just wants to get you well, but"The Impossible Cure" by Amy Lansky is amazing. She really deals with the meat of Homeopathy and you come away knowing so much more about homeopathy because of her wonderful writing style and her carring and giving nature.

4.0 out of 5 stars makes homeopathy (too) simple, May 24 2000
By Luc De Jaeger - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Homeopathy Made Simple: A Quick Reference Guide (Paperback)
In this small book the author gives a small repertory for most ailments and problems under the heading '5-minute-prescriber'. He continuous with a very small materia medica and some secrets of the practicing homeopath. In this chapter the author explains some effective remedies that - according to him - always work. He very often refers to his own combination formulas (the contents of which he does not always explain - so this is a minor point!). It's dangerous to make things that are very difficult (and homeopathy is VERY difficult) too simple. Though I like this book I will always consult a good repertory and materia medica as well (e.g. the synoptic materia medica by Frans Vermeulen, Synthesis by Frederik Schroyens etc...)
