I'm just a poor college kid who found an old 1972 CB100 at a salvage yard for about a hundred bucks. A guy at the local bike shop let me skim through this book when i had a few questions for him, and I decided I had to own it. I haven't seen a better book about these bikes, in fact, I haven't seen too many books on these bikes period. The brake work went smoothly thanks to this book, and so did the recent carb. rebuild. Though you should have general knowledge before hand, this book is pretty easy to follow. If you own an old CB100 you should definately own this book, and get it quickly before it goes out of print. Besides, if I can figure it out, I'm sure most everyone else can also.

I have the honda shop manual for the XL175 but it has voids in it. I have always found one manual is never enough. This manual filled some important gaps for me.

I've got a Honda CB125S. If I'm going to service it, this is my only option.It is a good service manual. No problems with it so far. Well written and clear-- at least to someone who's been into service manuals in the past. |
