Raffinement et travail impeccable,

C'est l'un des plus beaux ouvrages que j'ai lus jusqu'à présent. Les oeuvres présentées sont modernes, sobres et raffinées : rien de clinquant, de tape à l'oeil, de bebelles. Elles convienent à la femme contemporaine qui recherche l'élégance. Elles sont aussi magnifiquement exécutées. On sent l'amour de l'Art et du travail bien fait. Les explications sont claires et complètes. De plus, les matériaux (fils, perles, etc., n'ont rien d'exotique et peuvent se trouver facilement. Les photos sont magnifiques. Je recommande sans hésitation ce livre.

I'm writing this review primarily because I'm so impressed with the materials and techniques section of the book, as well as its layout. I have been crocheting for many years, and this book has some of the best illustrations I've seen on basic crochet. Crafting jewelry, on the other hand, is not something I'm experienced at, so the equally well done section on jewelry-making supplies and tools is extremely helpful. The clearly identified photos of such are excellent. So for rating purposes, I feel this makes up some for the book type itself being small.While, of course, I have my personal preferences on the jewelry projects themselves, I think the variety of styles and ideas makes this a book that could appeal to people with different tastes. The projects are really well laid out too. Each one includes finished measurements, materials, gauge, stitch glossaries, and row by row instructions; all of which are very clear. There are nice sharp full page photographs of the finished pieces to refer to. Despite beaded jewelry being so popular in recent years, I was reluctant to add it to my repertoire of crafts, but as the title suggests, this did get me "hooked on jewelry!" I finally found this book and looked through it to see what type of designs it covered. It has several very interesting designs that I am going to do. I love crochet jewelry and bead crochet. Two of my favorite hobbies wrapped into one book. I am very happy with my purchase.

While some of the designs are not my style, many are. I used the book mostly as inspiration for other projects not in the book. Lots of inspiration, will use for a long time to come.
