T303 HF Treadmill review May 25 2014
By CO - Published on Amazon.com
I purchased this treadmill from Sports Chalet July 2013. I've owned it for almost a year and so far I have logged about 1100 miles on it. I have had no problems with it. I have it plugged into a power strip with protection so not to blow out the electronics. I also have it on top of a solid rubber mat for padding (on top of tile floor). The only issue I have with it is have the "Lube Belt" message come up every 150 or so miles. Its easy to go thru belt lube. Also I purchased an extended warranty from Sports Chalet and its for 4 years bumper to bumper. If they can't fix it. They have to replace it. cost about $200 (for warranty).
The treadmill itself is solid. I tried to shake it by hand and run on it at its top speed and have had no problems with it (no wobbles in construction and set up). I'm over 215lbs. The belt is excellent. Just be careful when adjusting the belt after applying lube. Place a piece of tape on one end of the adjusting tool (to keep track of counts) and count how many times you loosen (or tighten) each side. then run the machine (3 to 6mph and if one side of the belt is sliding to one side adjust the other side as needed for balance. Remember not too tight.
My other small issue is the speakers. when I plug in my MP3 player the music does not come thru very well. No big deal.
So far this treadmill is excellent for running and walking. The incline works excellent even at top speed 12mph. I paid a total of $1200 with warranty, shipping and delivery with set up. Thanks for reading. Very happy with the purchase.

Treadmill May 6 2013
By Ernie Ernie - Published on Amazon.com
My daughter just won one of these in a football pool. We visited her and I tried it out and it is very nice.
Nice and long for running, a three speed fan, programs for various exercises. I thought it was solid. This is a good price too for the quality. Note the t202 is out of production. That is what she actually won but they substituted the newer better model.

BUYER BEWARE! Aug. 27 2014
By IncrediBody - Published on Amazon.com
In March of 2013, I purchased a LIVESTRONG LS16.9T treadmill from a local party who no longer needed the machine. The unit was in excellent condition, having been used as a walking device for someone of advanced age. Since acquiring the treadmill, my brother and I used the machine without any issues, until 1/25/14, when as I was walking at 3.2 mph at an incline of 10% (my regular workout routine that I had performed on this same treadmill countless times), and about 30 mins into my workout, the treadmill instantaneously accelerated and I was thrown onto my head and left shoulder with tremendous force. I temporarily lost feeling in my right side, which thankfully subsided, as well as suffered a concussion and whiplash, the former resulting in persistent lightheadedness, and the latter producing discomfort and stiffness in the right side of my neck that just recently subsided.

This, as you can probably imagine, was not only completely unexpected, but horrifying to me. I have used a treadmill as my cardio workout of choice for 14 years, and never in my wildest dreams expected anything like this was even a possibility. The treadmill literally accelerated to what must have been maximum speed without any warning whatsoever, and before I realized what had happened I was bashed into the treadmill belt head-first with such force that I am honestly surprised I didn't break my neck and/or lose consciousness.

I suffered a concussion, whiplash that resulted in persistent neck discomfort on the right side, and several brush burns. Three days after I visited the Urgent Care Center, I began to experience lightheadedness when changing position, and immediately went to the ER, where I was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome.

I then contacted LIVESTRONG, telling them my story and kindly requesting restitution in the amount of my medical bills and the cost of the replacement walking treadmill I purchased with a limit 4 mph motor (as I can never bring myself to use a treadmill with a potential to accelerate past 4 mph again after this devastating malfunction). They asked me for all supporting documentation, which I promptly emailed to them (9 pages worth, all labeled and organized). The total reimbursement requested was $1,483.30, which was comprised of medical bills related to the accident (CAT scan, ER visit, etc) and the replacement walking treadmill.

Then, shortly thereafter, Johnson Health Tech, the parent company of LIVESTRONG, denies my request for reimbursement, which shocked me. I have been a bodybuilder since 1989, owned my own fitness company since 1997, and there was zero (NO) operation error that caused the treadmill to suddenly accelerate 30 mins into a workout, as my fitness experience level and 10 months using the LIVESTRONG machine in question with no issues should attest to, yet an accident that could have been fatal is brushed off by Johnson Health Tech in what I consider to be a legalistic and heartless way.

Buyer beware, please, in relation to products produced by Johnson Health Tech or any of its subsidiaries (Horizon Fitness, LIVESTRONG, Matrix, Vision Fitness, AFG, Merit Fitness, and Tempo Fitness), because my accident was NOT a result of user error, and I implore anybody who is considering one of Johnson Health Tech’s products to make an informed decision before purchasing, as my story is real, caused me many sleepless nights due to the concussion, and Johnson Health Tech responded to my serious accident by brushing my aside in one short paragraph.

By the way, the lady who contacted me on behalf of Johnson Health Tech asked that I provide her with any more info that could change Johnson Health Tech’s mind after they rejected my request, and once I did, nobody ever replied. Then, because they knew I was not satisfied with their decision, on March 26th Johnson Health Tech sent me a survey from their President Nathan Pyles, which I filled out, and once again, never heard a word from anybody.

Buyer beware!

JUNK!! March 4 2014
By nefootball - Published on Amazon.com
Verified Purchase
I received shipment of the treadmill and I was in shock what kind of a piece of crap this treadmill really is. A crack ran down one side of the machine and continued down underneath where the motor is. Cheap Chinese plastic to say the very least. I can't believe this thing was actually built to withstand humans walking on it let alone running on it.

Short Circuit Aug. 27 2013
By ericamir - Published on Amazon.com
This is the first time I have ever written an internet product review but felt this warranted it. I bought this treadmill from sports chalet. After 3 weeks, it short circuited and will no longer turn on. When I called Horizon customer service, they said they would send a replacement electrical console, but that it was not in stock, and they did not know when it would be. I would definitely not buy this treadmill again.
