Let me start off by saying that I had never heard of this author until I saw her name tagged 16 times for Lora Leigh's "Wild Card". I did not find her writing to be anywhere close to the calibre of LL's 5-star books. This kindle book had formatting issues and was in serious need of a good editing.
I love a good hostage themed hea book. In this story the hostage theme is how the Ryan and Deanna meet but the hostage story line ends early.

While Deanna is being held captive she has consensual sex with Ryan, who is actually undercover FBI. She becomes pregnant and the story then begins. I just couldn't get into the story. I wanted it to be a lot better. I finally gave up and decided that it just wasn't worth the purchase price. Amazon gave me a refund.

I really enjoyed Chelle Cordero's 'Hostage Heart.'. It read quickly and kept my interest until the very end. I would highly recommend this book and I plan to read all of the author's other book. It took me along on the adventure. I enjoyed the romance.
