From Booklist
Ages 5-8. The clever, full-page, black-and-white illustrations by the late Marshall may make this reissue of a poetry collection first published in 1980 worth the price tag. The balloon-captioned comments add a fresh dimension to the verses. "He's extinct with fatigue," snidely remark two rats as the Dinosore soaks his aching feet. While a tad too cute, the 22 rhymes about such unusual critters as the Edgehog, Pythong, and Crocodial have appealing wordplay and childlike silliness.
