Review
George's Morton's book is like a long conversation with an experienced medical transcriptionist. No glossing over problems, no promises of training being quick and easy, nor suggestions of quick rewards. Instead, the profession is explained well and the questions most frequently asked instructors and practitioners alike are answered. I will suggest that my students read it thoroughly. I know that it will save me a lot of time going over and over the same material, so I am excited to have it available. --
Marcy Diehl, CMT, author of Medical Keyboarding, Typing, and Transcribing, nationally the most widely used medical transcription education textbookI am really pleased to have gotten my hands on it. It provides a solid look at the profession and deals honestly with a lot of the questions I have about the work. I had not been able to obtain this kind of in-depth, useful information anywhere else. I'm glad you wrote it. --

a readerThis book will be a valuable tool for anyone who does not understand what a medical transcriptionist is or does, and does nothing but give the honest and actual facts. A great contribution to the profession. --
