Product Description

If you like me you have tried bead crochet and failed miserable, then don't despair, as this book may just be what the doctor ordered. A basic knowledge of crochet would be helpful to be able to understand the abbreviations that have been used; however, there is a handy DVD enclosed to help you every step of the way and it is paced at a great speed for you to follow along. There are only six projects in the book covering earring, necklaces, rings and bracelets, but nothing has been left to chance, as it is full of wonderful diagrams and photo's to ensure you finish your projects perfectly. I have to say I tested the DVD thoroughly and found it a really handy tool to follow. Take the time to practise first and you should end up with some beautiful jewellery to wear.-Beadworker's Guild Journal

Easy to understand Dec 21 2011

I had been trying to teach myself how to do beaded crochet for months with no success. I had used online videos and how to sites. I bought this book and from watching the DVD just one time I easily made a beaded crochet rope! Had I known this would be the ultimate guide I would have bought it sooner! Best advice is to do as the DVD says and buy a cheap bag of pony beads and learn using these extra large beads.

As a teacher I do appreciate a well written and illustrated "How To" book.
The added video just enhanced the explanation. I am pleased with "How to Crochet Bead-Tube".

Misleading Jan. 28 2013

Was looking for a book for my beading class. This was marketed as a "how-to", but the projects were all labelled for intermediate beaders. I felt like half the pages were filler on beading basics that are in every bead book. What audience was this for - new beaders, new crochet-beaders, or more experienced crochet-beaders? I have not viewed the DVD as I plan to return the book.
