Book Description

Have you ever wondered what people are thinking or if they are telling the truth? Did you know that you can discern someone’s thoughts by reading the clues in a person’s body language? Did you know that the position of your hand during a handshake shows whether you have a submissive or a dominant personality? And that your apparently unconscious choice to say “do not” instead of “don’t” can indicate that you are lying? These revealing clues (and many more) provide insights into people’s innermost thoughts. In this entertaining and illuminating guide, Peter Collett decodes the fascinating intricacies of body language and speech.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Good Basic Body Language Primer Dec 5 2010
Format:Paperback
I must have somehow managed to pre-scan the best parts of this promising 300 page book before buying it, because it turns out to being a merely ordinary tome, which was previously released in 2003 with a rather dull title "The Book of Tells" and now re-released with a sexy marketing spin & recommended as a "brilliant study" by Desmond Morris!

3.0 out of 5 stars A Good Basic Body Language Primer Mar 30 2010
By Michael Pastien - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I must have somehow managed to pre-scan the best parts of this promising 300 page body language book before buying it, because it turns out to being mostly pretty basic absolute beginner's stuff! It is a merely good book which was previously released in 2003 with a rather dull title "The Book of Tells" and now re-released with a sexy marketing spin & recommended as a "brilliant study" by Desmond Morris!
