5.0 out of 5 stars Hug an Angry Man and You Will See He is Crying, Jun 4 2010
By K. Keating - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Hug an Angry Man and You Will See He Is Crying (Paperback)
Excellent collection of short stories and poems. An exploration of a personal history, to identify the roots of present day behaviors, beliefs and core values.

This book helped me to be able to more quickly identify angry tones, gestures, behaviors in others which previously would have elicited an immediate angry "reaction" in me. Now, when I see this anger in others, I bring it to their attention, and "respond" to them, rather than "react". I realize that anger may be a natural self-defense that boys have learned as a survival technique. I am working to understand potential root causes of anger in others, and to address it rather than engage in it (thereby defusing it).

This book and the lessons learned has helped me in my relationship with my Dad, and with my husband. Great job, Sean. Thank you.
