Series is Losing Steam, Sep 14 2011

This review is from: Hulk: World War Hulks (Paperback)
I really don't know why I keep buying these Hulk books. Ever since World War Hulk it's just been all downhill with a little spike in quality every once in a while.
***SPOILERS***
So all the Marvel super heroes are still all hulked out and are still trying to kill the Red Hulk. But we quickly see that they are no match for him! No one can hold a candle to him except for the Red She-Hulk. But when she finally shows up and fights the Red Hulk, he turns back into who he really is, GENERAL ROSS!!! And the Red She-Hulk says he's her father, which makes her Betty Ross!!!
Come on, who honestly DIDN'T see this coming?
Then General Ross spends about 20 pages reminiscing about how his life had sucked and how it's all the Hulk's fault therefore he MUST be destroyed!
At this point the Red Hulk somehow ends up in the Oval Office and declares that he is "in charge now." Suddenly the Hulk shows up out of nowhere and they start fighting. Then the Red She-Hulk shows up, and then the Green She-Hulk shows up and THEY start fighting. Then the Blue Hulk shows up. But honestly it's never explained how any of them got there.
It was about then I realized how stupid all this series was getting. All could think at that point was, "Gotta Catch 'em All!"
Of course the Green Hulk wins and the Red Hulk is taken into custody. Later we see that the Green Hulk is at the prison and has a deal to make the Red Hulk.
***END SPOILERS***
This was a lousy conclusion to a really lame storyline. Jeph Loeb... what happened? How do you go from the sheer amount of pure AWESOME that was Planet Hulk and World War Hulk, to this garbage???
Don't waste your time or your money.

Rulk's Story, April 15 2011

This review is from: Hulk: World War Hulks (Paperback)
I started reading the Incredible Hulk more closely once the big bad Red Hulk made his appearance and after many issues...finally his identity was revealed and the story behind how it happened. Obviously the icing on the cake is the one on one war Hulk vs. Rulk.
