It's a 50 Cent world, and we're just living in it. Lloyd Banks's solo debut is one in an upcoming series of G Unit-affiliated releases coming to a hood near you. With his understated raspy flows and gift for penning clever punch lines, Banks has long been considered the crew's nicest lyricist. He might also be the most braggadocious. On choice cut "Warrior," the narcissism begins: "I'm smooth as the Isleys, sometimes I surprise me." Then there's the self-explanatory "I’m So Fly," produced by Timbaland, and "If You So Gangsta," where he informs his fellow hood dwellers why they can't compete with the "rap Lebron." As with all G Unit productions, the beats are first-rate. Remarkable backing tracks supplied by underrated producers Hi-Tek and Baby Grand ("I Get High," "Die One Day") act as a much needed counterweight to Banks's clichéd thug-guns-girls-jewelry banter. A better reason to cop this album is to hear Banks's introspective take on the flipside of thug living. R&B-tinged ballad "Karma" demos his ability to serenade the hotties in more, um, gentlemanly fashion. When he raps "if it wasn't for 50, I probably wouldn't be around," he might be right. But the rap world's no worse off with this capable debut in our midst. --Dalton Higgins

are crazy and tha songs actually talk bout something other than
ima kill u, i have alot of money, or ima gangsta like beg for mercy(whack azz album). Honestly this is in my top five albums of all time.lloyd is my inspiration, and one of tha best mc's of all time the way hes going."N***** in new york knows tha man is a monster and aint from alanta but ill a town stomp ya. Yo 50 get a job at burger king(young buck,n game) cuz theres a new leader of tha rap game and g-unit and he wants more. Holla at cha boy

This album was a very good album, and I am glad I bought it. The beats are good, and Banks lays it out awesomely. I think he's one of the best lyricists in the game beside Ludacris. I'll review the album with a review of the songs.
1) Aint No Click- Good song, Tony Yayo lays it well on his return on a CD. Lloyd Banks has many good punchlines. "I'll be damned if I co-sign an old snitch; That was gangbangin' when jaws was a goldfish" (9.5/10)
2) Playboy- Good song. (7/10)
3) Warrior- This is a really good song aswell. (7/10)
4) On Fire- Perfect club beat. (9/10)
5) I Get High featuring 50 and Snoop- This is one song I'm not feeling. (6/10)
6) I'm So Fly- I like this song, I listen to it mostly now. (10/10)
7) Work Magic- Another really good song, Buck lays it hard. (10/10)
8) If You So Gangsta- Best punchline song. (9/10)
9) Warrior Part 2- Good, 50's part is nice. (8/10)
10) Karma- Good song for the ladies. (7.8/10)
11) When The Chips Are Down- Game lays it awesome. (9/10)
12) Til The End- Best song on the album. (20/10)
13) Die One Day- Good song. (7/10)
14) South Side Story- Good life story. (8/10)
15) Just Another Day (For Collectors Edition)- Really good song to just nod your head to. (7.5/10)

Banks is the only artist from g-unit wit real talent. i would break down every song for u, but wuts the point of writin 5/5 for every song? his whole album is hot, jus cop it

Banks kicks ass
