5.0 out of 5 stars Another Fantastic Season, July 2 2007
By Col. Sanders - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Hustle: Complete Season Three (DVD)
If you enjoyed the first two season then you'll love this one as well. It follows the same fantastic formula as the previous two and includes some daring cons and some bits of humor that will have you laughing so hard, it hurts.

Episode 1- The beloved con artists go after a "mark", and use his son (a makeshift rapper) to get to him.

Episode 2- Danny and Mickey, the two stars of the show, compete for the title pf "best con artist". They enter a challenge to make the most money, they start with nothing, not even the clothes on their backs.

Episode 3- This one was great, the "crew" defrauds the stock market with their fake company "Chad Mining".

Episode 4- After a failed con on a sweatshop owner, the "gang" tries the same trick again, of course, the man has amnesia.

Episode 5- After a newspaper leads to the suicide of a close friend, Mickey and gang go after the company and It's money.

Episode 6- This one was a bit of a repeat but still nice, It features Mickey and friends and another dirty cop.

Hustle continues to be one of the best BBC shows that I've seen in quite a while. If you're a fan of the series or enjoyed the previous season, you wont want to miss this, especially episode 2...really....watch episode 2, I insist.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great season - and correction to above review, July 24 2007

I think this season compares quite favorably to the previous two - if you liked them, you'll like this as well.

Oh, and to correct J. Baybusky's ("janbay37") review above, Mickey is very much a presence in season 3 - I think he's referring to season 4, now airing on A&E (Mickey has indeed left the cast, ostensibly to assist on some score in Australia). Sadly, I agree with his assessment; it's not nearly the same show without him.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Con is on . . ., July 15 2007
By N. Burt "nikkles" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Hustle: Complete Season Three (DVD)
Hustle Season Three is just as fun as the first two seasons. The guest stars are fantastic. The cons are all fun and the marks suitably deserving of being had. The dream like sequences are particularly good this season. The special features could be better on this set, but it is still great. This is a great ensemble cast where the characters are as fun as the story. British tv at its best.
