Billy Talents latest cd does not fail to deliver. This cd lives up to the bands reputation of great music. All I can say is buy it!!

Kind of disappointed,

I love Billy Talent. They seemed to grow so much between their first and second albums, and yet with this one, it seemed like they went nowhere. Aside from a few very good songs (St. Veronika, White Sparrows, Diamond on a Landmine -- to a lesser extent, Devil on my Shoulder and Pocketful of Dreams), you'll find a lot of it sounds the same and there's nothing really new, both in terms of their lyrics as well as the instrumentation.If you don't mind listening to very similar songs, get it; otherwise, hold out and hope that the next CD is more varied.

This was my second Billy Talent album and I had some high expectations, and this album surpassed them all. This album is classic Billy Talent with some great standout songs. Devil On My Shoulder, Rusted From the Rain, Tears Into Wine, Saint Veronika, The Dead Can't Testify and Turn Your Back are all fantastic. The rest of the songs on the album are also really solid.My main problem with the album is that the many of the songs sound similar. Most of the songs have a very close vocal style, beat and theme and this leads to much of the album flowing together. I just wish they had varied the songs a little more. Overall, a great album. With a number of standout songs, solid filler songs and a great sound. Just hope they change it up a little more next time.
