Puisque j'aime bien lire des livres de développement personnel, j'ai ajouté celui-ci à ma liste de lectures. Je viens de le terminer et je m'étais promise de le commenter un peu. J'ai beaucoup apprécié cette lecture accessible même si le sujet touche aux dimensions profondes (et parfois douloureuses) et nous-mêmes ! La structure est claire et le contenu m'a aidée à aller plus loin dans ma réflexion et mon cheminement. Autrement dit, c'est un livre qui aide à se sentir mieux. Pour construire l'estime de soi et la confiance, j'ai apprécié ce livre autant que Qui suis-je ?: Redécouvrir son identité de Nicolas Sarrasin. Bonne lecture !

Définitivement, une lecture enrichissante qui permet de concrètement la façon de nous voir. J'ai beaucoup appris de cette lecture qui est assez simple à aborder même si les sujets sont parfois déconcertants pour nous-mêmes. Comment se construire et réviser favorablement son estime de soi, tout un défi ! Curieux hasard, comme la dame qui a fait le commentaire avant le mien, j'avais moi aussi déjà lu le livre Qui suis-je ? qui porte aussi sur l'estime de soi, et je dois avouer que je l'ai autant aimé.

A psychiatrist who thinks it's important to be kind to his patients! I like this author's approach to life, his simple take on important problems. This book is all about self-esteem, and according to André pretty much everything affects self-esteem, so even if you don't think you have self-esteem issues, you will probably find something of value in this self-help book. From accepting who you are and the facts of your life, to simple meditation exercises, there are great analyses of common problems people have and how to deal with them. I borrowed this book from the library and am seriously considering buying my won copy so I can refer to it as needed.
