Bought this for a recent Hackintosh build. Lion recognized the device, but the reception is pretty bad. Only have a magic mouse tethered to it and the movement is intermittent and glitchy. Can't speak for Win/*nix.

This product works fairly well. It set up very quickly on windows XP, but took a while to figure itself out on windows 7. It's compact and out of the way, which is nice. Every once in a while, I receive sound quality problems, as though the sound from my computer is coming from a cell phone. Other than this, I enjoy the dongle - it has broadened my computer's capabilities

Bought this product and never regret it.It works great. It is is so tiny and have a blue light in it when you turn your lap top on. This had enabled blue tooth in my laptop what else I can ask for?
