Accuracy of Map and Book, Mar 25 2009
By Kenneth F. Stubert - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Iceland Travel Pack (Paperback)
I just returned from Iceland. The map was very poor. Many of the scenic spots were in the wrong location and on the wrong routes. Many route numbers were mis-labeled and some did not exist.
If you want an accurate map and book, don't buy this one!
The book was marginal at best with poor descriptions, little information on key points and in general was of little value or interest.

Very Good Overview, Sep 7 2008
By Two for the road - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Iceland Travel Pack (Paperback)
The Iceland Travelpack provided a very good overview of Iceland attractions - waterfalls, glaciers, coastline, volcanoes and geysers. The Travelpack, including accompanying map, enabled us to outline an itinerary for our trip. Further research on the web of specific attractions highlighted in the Travelpack is recommended if you are planning to tour on your own. Information on places to stay and eat is minimal. However, regional service centers are identified, facilitating online searches for hotels, etc.
