This collection of Fern Michaels short stories is the perfect way to take a break from holiday hustle, shopping and preparations. The stories are written in her easy-to-read style with well developed characters that you would love to meet and call friends. Romance abounds and pure feel-good stories - not just one but four. What a great escape!

How I love Fern Michaels Book's Nov. 5 2012
By Giemini - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I have nearly every book writen by Fern Michael's, she captivated me with the first book of her's that I read called " Mr an Ms anomimiss( sorry my writing is off because I am lossing my vision) but that book lead to a love for all her works, an even though I may be lossing my sight I will try to get the books in auditory form. The sisterhood was an other great series by her, I just couldn't wait to get the next book after I read the first, an the ending of the last book in that series left me wondering if she had plans to creat a nother series with some of the same careters, like I said, I have almost all her books, only time is against me being abale to read them so I will try to get the books I won't be able to finish onto audio for my new Kindel 8.9, because right now I only have the Kidel fire an the lettering is as big as I can get it an I also use a magnifier, but I'm not complaining, I just love Fern Michaels books an will keep on reading them for as long as I can an as long as she keeps writing them BEST WISHES TO FERN MICHAELS AN AMAZON WHO I GET HER BOOKS FROM........ THANK YOU... DENISE M. OLSON

A sweet holiday read Dec 8 2012

Enjoyed all four stories. They were all easy reads filled with love, laughter, and festivity! Cute is the best description.
Not even a "buy" at A $0.50. Keep your money and spend your time on something else completely. Dec 15 2014

I have read the first story in this book and was sorely disappointed. I am more of a "historical" lover but I still enjoy any kind of well written romance. These stories were not well written. Hopefully this was written early on in her career. All the curse words that she throws in are NOT necessary to achieve the "feelings"...instead they just aggravate me since they are not needed.
It felt choppy -I never knew where the main characters were. I mean the background was useless. No description of anything ....for example ...the character was standing one moment then her back hits lots of pillows ....I had to keep reading to find out where this happened at.... the last place she was in was the bathroom....most people don't have tons of pillows strewn across the floor in that room.

Very poorly written April 10 2013
By Texas Annie - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Mass Market Paperback
I know Fern Michaels has written many books, so I assumed she was an outstanding talented writer. So I can only hope that she wrote these 4 stories early in her career, because they are embarrassingly bad. The characters are unbelievable, the dialog is unbelievable, their actions are unbelievable. These characters just don't come across as real people, people I could care about. They didn't behave like normal people behave. There is no wit to the writing; just very dull and dry. These stories cried out for a little humor, a little witty dialog - but NOTHING. DRY DRY DRY. The plots themselves weren't bad; but the writer ruined it by not knowing what to do with her characters to move the plot forward.
