4.0 out of 5 stars Great Information April 8 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have found the Storey Country Wisdom Bulletins more than useful. "Improving Your Soil" by Stu Cambell is full of great information about how to identify what type of soil you have in your gardens. As well as how to amend it to achieve a successful growing season. It will be a bulletin that I will refer to years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars The author knows his soil! Feb 8 2012
By Sheila - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Small book, with great information. the author knows his soil, he's been at it for years, and it shows. This is no encyclopedia on soil, but it's as simple as this... if you want good soil, buy the book, and you will know exactly what to do, and learn more besides. It's short, simple, and very sweet. Helped me alot, and I know gardening.

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting back to the land Jun 19 2011
By Michael P. Herriges - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased this for my wife who does the gardening. She knows better than to let me around plants; I could kill a plastic plant. She has found the information useful as we are preparing our "victory" (crisis) garden and need to have the best production we can.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good basic info April 19 2012
By Edward Grey - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I found this pamphlet to generally have good basic information. It was only 30 pages long but I felt it gave a reasonable grasp of the basics of soil and what makes it work well, and how to diagnose and resolve problems. Overall for the price it was well worth it.
