Looking Inside you.,

Ms. Vanzant allows you to keep your mind open to new avenues on how to relief the emptiness we feel do to hurt and pain from a bad relationship. Each story and experience she gave was an insight as to how we experience a fall on our ego and self respect, and how to learn how to live for you and not everyone else in life. It is a great self healing book. Through her own personal experiences she gives reasons to look within your own life as to what we have lost within ourselves. She helps you view what is out there for us to move on and get to the top in being happy with ourselves and not living through having someone else be your happiness, but finding it within you.

When this book was suggested to me by an ex-girlfriend, I said yeah right... I thought there was no way I would read a book like this. So, I gave it a chance. When I started reading it, I could not put it down. I went through 132 pages in two nights, which is unusual for me. By far, the best pages these fingers have turned in a long time.

I read this book when it first came out and I was in bad shape over love. I admit at first I thought it was pretty corny but I kept it and made myself read it more than once. I eventually got it. The only reason I even bought it in the first place was the Cinderella story about the Authour but after reading it several times I got what she was trying to say. Women need to find their self-esteem regardless of outside factors such as poverty, abuse, failures and whatever else is bringing you down and get out of the basement! That is my motto to this day "Get the heck out of the basement!" At first friends were like "what are you talking about???" then I shared the book, even with people who werent experiencing bad relationship periods were wowed by it. I even had to go over to a friends house and pry it out of her hands because she didnt want to part with it! The Author is truly an amazing woman and a completely first class role model for all women of the world. I urge you to read this book.
