A superb effort by the boys. This story kicks you in the groin, and on the way down, knees you in the teeth, elbows you in the spine, and stomps your guts out while you lie on the ground.
And you're left only wanting more. A lot more.
The story grabbed me from Page 1 of Part 1.
Most of us can agree with the character's statement made in the last picture on Page 1.
It held me and I never once thought about putting this graphic novel down until I was done.
Brubaker and Phillips forged a great story with classic artwork.
Damn good.
