Just Not Funny June 8 2012
By Chinedu P. Opara - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I bought this, as well as the sequel, at same time. Alas, I was disappointed.

Maybe I was expecting something WAAYYY funnier than this, but to be honest the story was merely OK and really not satisfying. Despite the fact that I own all the Transformers cartoons on DVD, and I'm a fairly big Trans-Fan (and I have an inner 12-year old), I feel like maybe I'm not the target audience for these 2 books.

Think about it... There IS SO MUCH comedy material in the Transformers cartoons, comics, and movies... it's a literal comedy goldmine! But the author seemed to skip 95%, and while telling the mediocre and simplistic story, the few jokes he did make were more of the "smile" variety, not the "ROFL" variety.

I truly wanted to ROFL. I truly did.

I was disappoint.

Maybe I get get a few bucks for them on ebay, or donate to my local library...

Chee-choo-chuk-chu-chook: Incredible change! July 26 2009
By F. Escudero - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
As soon as I started reading the Incredible Change-Bots, I couldn't put the book down until I finished it.
I grew up in the 80's watching Transformers and other animated robots that were able to do the most incredible things. These guys come pretty close to that, but they're much more human and prone to errors like us.
With names like Balls, Rusty, Microwave or Soupy and the great art and story by Jeff Brown you'll have lots of fun reading this graphic novel.
Totally recommended if you like robots, comics and still remember the old Transformers.

Brought back memories and made some new ones. Sept. 29 2007
By Goober - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
If you grew up with the Go-Bots or Transformers this book is for you. Jeffrey Brown takes all the stereotypes and obsurdities of these cartoons and has created an unforgettably funny story about robots, humans and total misunderstandings.

Hilarious and entertaining! Jan. 23 2010

This comic is the perfect antidote for the blah Transformers movies. It captures all the quirky absurdity and 80s retro vibe of the old Transformers comics/shows and also the Go Bots series. This is mostly for people who grew up in the 80s, and has a throwback feel with a real reverence for the genre. And it's absolutely a laugh riot! The change sound-effects and the character names are all really clever, and this is basically just a quick, good time read. Nothing too serious to ponder here, but well worth a look for how pretty it is.
