This book was was a great resoucre. With her past, she seems to understand how people in these situations feel and think. I could definitely identify with her! Sometimes people dealing with affairs need support from someone who understands, instead of intellectual babbling from so called experts. I would recommend this book to anyone who is having "affair" problems right now.

Elissa Gough's book on infidelity is a valuable resource for anyone struggling with the issue. It is helpful for both the person involved in infidelity and their spouse. One of the strengths of the book is its simple straight-forward style. It is divided into three portions, The Basics of Betrayal, The players and Prevention, Intervention and Recovery. When a person is hurting, they want a volume that is simple and straight forward. They do not need long explanations at that time. The chapter entitled "So You Think You are Different?" was exceptionally powerful. If you are looking for a book to help you get a handle on an affair and ways to deal with it, this is a book worth considering.
