5.0 out of 5 stars best reference book ever Aug 6 2011

This is the best reference book I have ever come across. The information is up to date, quick and precise, easy to find. I had an old one and now I just purchased newer version of this book and I have already used it so much. This has been an excellent studying aid for Naplex review. During my Naplex review, I used to skip over some medications that didn't seem too important. But now I keep my book with me while studying. Any drug you don't know, just quickly look over it. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick reference without wasting time. And the medications chart at the end of the book, separated by categories (B-blockers, ACE-inhibitors, diabetes etc.) are really good too. Overall, great book...two thumbs up.
Amazon delivered it quickly too (within 5 days or so)

5.0 out of 5 stars Best drug reference July 4 2011

I have been using this book daily for several years in my practice. The book is concise and usually accurate. Much more convenient and inclusive than any PDR or a nursing drug reference. It includes medications that have long disappeared from the PDR (since not being promoted). The 20th Ed is probably number 8 for me.
I recommend this book to any physician or physician-in -training.

A great resource that any pharmacist or student should have around. Sure everything is going electronic, but it is still a great book.
