This game is so fun and funny. I got this game for my birthday a few weeks ago and i loved. It so funny with the one liners from dana gould. But I am warning you do not let people under the age of at least 8 to play because it has bad words in it. My game kept saying the D word over and over and over. I have a five year old brother and he heard the d word and he said over and over and over. I am warning you this game is really fun and funny but dont let little kids play it or even listen to it. But for sure this game is much better than Croc and Croc2.

It's a very long and hard game. If you're going to play it you should plan some time too. Playing the beginning is fun but after playing the same levels with more difficulty (that's practically what it is) it gets boring and frustrating.

A forgotten gem..., Oct 3 2004

If you talk to an average gamer and mention Gex, he'll probably say, "Gex? Who the hell is Gex?" Let's face it, great games are sometimes forgotten. When it was first released, it got pretty good critizisim from sites and magizines except GameSpot. [Yet again, GameSpot also said Mega Man X4 was for "weirdo platformer fans" damn you GameSpot!] I remember renting this once and loving it, but soon I forgot about it. Then, my friend mentioned it, and I raced to Amazon and bought it.
Graphics: 8/10; For a 1998 game, it looks great! Very colorful, although a little fuzzy in some places.
Sound: 99/10; I love hearing Gex talk! You never know what he'll say next! You might find yourself chuckling as he pokes fun at Bill Gates, Adam Sandler, Tim Burton, Austin Powers, Drew Carey, Full House, Bugs Bunny, and many, many, many more! Almost all quotes are new, but he sometimes says a classic quote from the first game!
Gameplay: 10/10 It combines the fun of many different platformers, [Mostly Super Mario 64] and turns it into a wild ride! GameSpot called it a "SM64 clone" but Banjo Kazzoie was also a SM64 clone and they liked it. Besides, we need more games like SM64. Gex collects remotes in a wide variaty of many massive levels, while Kung-Fu kicking, tail-whipping, bug-slurping his way into all of our hearts. There are also hidden remotes. Some are easy to find, others are quite hard to find. There are also bonus rounds paroding Cops, Indy Jones, Jason, and more...
Story: After defeating Rez in the last one, Gex still is a TV hog, then, a bunch of "goverment goons" show up and tell them that Rez is back, and they want him to go back into the Media Deminsion and defeat him again. Gex refuses, but they offer him a TON of cash if he does it, so he returns into the MD.
Difficulty-Medium to tough
Buy?- Yes. Worth every penny! If you have a Playstation, you must get this. There is a 64 version, but I heard it sucks so stick to the PS version.
