Book Description

Mar 2 2004 Charmed

As the Charmed Ones know, it's difficult to adjust to the ideas of having powers and saving innocents -- that's one of the reasons that their Grams bound their powers until the sisters were ready to receive them. In fact, many witch clans keep the powers of their young dormant until the recipient of the power reaches a certain age.

In Juliana O'Farrell's clan, that age is thirteen -- the exact age of her daughter, Lily. By the day after her thirteenth birthday, though, Lily's powers haven't manifested, and Juliana's worried that a demon may have stripped her daughter's magic. Enter the Halliwell sisters. But Lily's too much of a typical teen to welcome witch chaperones. She'd much rather sneak out to hang with her rebellious friend, Drew. Could Drew's bad behavior be related to Lily's missing magic? It's going to take the Power of Three to get to the bottom of this adolescent angst!

This is an amazing book. It brings innocents into play just like the show. It brings troubled kids into it just like the show did. I couldn't put this book down it is so interesting. If you want to start reading the charmed books and you don't care where you start, start with this one it is well worth it. You must but it.

4.0 out of 5 stars im not sure Jun 17 2004
Format:Mass Market Paperback
okay im really not sure about this book it is a good charmed but i dont think its great if that makes sense there are elements in this book that havent appeared in the series for a while like an enemy that can take on the charmed ones without fear, and a good twist at the end but for some reason this book just didn't click for me i think it was mainly because the main characters were new and that in this book the charmed one werent really needed at all. good but not the best

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best "Charmed" Book Yet! Jun 17 2004
Format:Mass Market Paperback
The Charmed Ones know it is difficult to get used to the idea of having powers and saving the world from evil. That's the reason their Grams banned their powers when they were young. They would recieve their powers when their ready.
In Juliana O'Farrell's clan, you recieve your powers when your thirteen. On her daughter Lily's birthday, for some reason she doesn't recieve her powers. And her best friend Drew is making her do the bad stuff she does. Could Drew be connected to Lily's missing powers?
But a transfer-power spell doesn't work. An O'Farrell ancestor won't switch Lily's powers that Drew accidentally got. And that's now all. A demon named Gortag who has many bodies is after Juliana and Lily. Maybe he's the one who switched the powers.
With some investigation, Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Juliana, Lily, Drew, and Leo don't find out that Drew's the witch...but an O'Farrell witch. And her parents are demons that switched Drew and Lily when they were babies. And all ends well when Lily meets her real father.
