I havent used it that often but from the times I have used it, it seems to hold the heat in pretty well. To regards to holding cold drinks im not sure since i got this in the beginning of winter.

I've had this for about a month. It keeps my tea hot for many hours(longest was about 6h) and is easy to clean. I like that the top can also be used as a cup. It has an easy red button to push when you want to pour your drink and this helps not dissipate the heat as quickly. Good price for a good product.
