Format: Hardcover
"Within each of us is a center of wisdom far deeper and greater than we are aware of. The meditations in this book are designed to connect with that center and magnify our understanding of life. When we are willing to open our consciousness to new ideas and new ways of thinking about issues, then our lives change for the better." (From the book)
Have you noticed that the way you begin the day often sets the tone for the experences that will follow, as well as how we will react to them? A great way to start the day with positive thoughts is Louise Hay's book Inner Wisdom - Meditations For the Heart and Soul. Hay shares uplifting gems of wisdom that are sure to encourage and inspire you. As with many Hay House titles, this book is full of colorful illustrations and text. Some pages have affirmations such as I breathe in love, and I flow with life, I relase all feelings of guilt, and I create wonderful new beliefs for myself. Most of the pages, however, contain wisdom like:
"Am I expanding or contracting? When I expand my thinking, my beliefs, and everything about me, the love flows freely. When I contract, I put up walls and shut myself off. If I am frightened or threatened or feel that something is just not right, I begin to breathe. Breathing opens me up. It straightens my spine. It opens my chest. It gives my heart room to expand. By practicing breathing, I drop the barriers and begin to open up. It is a beginning point. Instead of going into total panic, I take a few breaths and ask myself: Do I want to contract, or do I want to expand?
One page has the affirmation I perceive my true being with colorful flowers below. The meditation that accompanies it says:
"I see myself having a consciousness of oneness with the presence and power of God.

I have always been a fan of Louise Hay. I have read so many of her works. Since reading You Can Heal Your Life, I have tried so many ways to keep her positive affirmations running through my head. I would post them on my mirror, at my work office, next to my bed. These helped, but this new book is much more useful. Full of long, positive affirmations, I can carry this book around in my pocket and every couple of hours, I pull it out, pick a page, and repeat out loud the affirmation. This has helped me more than anything else I've used. After a few days, you will find that voice in your mind starting to repeat the words you have gotten used to saying out loud. I highly recommend getting this book after you have read one of her others. After hearing her explanations about how important positive affirmations are, I find this book the most useful way to benefit from them.

This book was originally given to me, and within a few hours of having the book, I was on-line ordering a few more copies from Amazon.com to buy as gifts for friends. This book is a wonderfully, uplifting book. Full of positive affirmations that you can read and learn from. Here is a small example of what the book entails; "When I begin to work on myself, sometimes things get worse before they get better. It is okay if this happens, because I know that it's the beginning of the process. It's untangling old threads. I just flow with it. It takes time and effort to learn what I need to learn. I don't demand instant change. Impatience is only resistance to learning. I let myslf do it step by step. It will get easier as I go along." I don't think you will be disappointed it you buy this book.

If your looking for a book full of positive affirmations then this seems to be the only book of it's kind. All the other books I have looked at seem to all say "if things are looking bad then..." this book is more like "things are good and will only get better". The problem with this book, is it leaves you feeling empty since it is written from a New Age point of view. Unless you are well grounded in the Bible and can pick out all the false sentences in the book don't bother with it. I'm asking myself why go to all the work constantly editing this book? Someone should write one just like this and leave all the New Age stuff out. Who wants to feel empty after reading a book anyhow?

"I see myself having a consciousness of oneness with the presence and power of God. My wisdom and understanding of Spirit increases, and I express the inner beauty and strength of my true being. Divine order is ever-present in my experience, and there is plenty of time for all that I choose to do. I express wisdom, understanding, and love in all of my dealings with others, and my words are Divinely guided. I see myself expressing the creative energy of Spirit in my work, my writing, and my speech. Fun, uplifting ideas flow through my consciousness, and I follow through on the ideas received, bringing them into full manifestation."
Whether using these words of wisdom at the start of the day, during a mid-day retreat, or before you go to bed, you're thoughts will begin to calm and your spirit will feel refreshed. I highly recommend this 101 page book, especially if you desire guidance, wisdom, strength, and peace.
"Remember, in the vast infinity of life, all is perfect, whole, and complete...and so are you."

A TEN STAR book where you can find the solution to any problem. July 21 2009
By Mina Grace Sam - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Inner Wisdom, Meditations for Heart and Soul is a beautiful book inside, as well as, outside. To feel good, for me, this is THE BOOK to go for. Even reading one page can make me feel so much better, lighter, safer and therefore healthier. Even reading one line, Louise L. Hay's line, "In the infinity of life where I am all is perfect, whole and complete" makes me sigh with relief and peace.

In this book Louise L. Hay addresses many subjects. Just to name a few: "I Am good enough", "I release all Negative Energy", "There is a solution to every problem". A one page ingenious snippet on each subject makes you feel like your problems are resolved and now you are sitting with a cup of hot cocoa covered in a warm blanket, satisfied, happy and secure. A perfect way to manifest solutions.

I came across this book when my life was in total chaos. It has been a huge source of healing for me. There are not enough words to express just how much this book has helped me. I just want to say, "In the infinity of life wherever you are, Thank you Louise L. Hay. Thank you."

Another beautiful book by Louise Hay March 3 2008
By Kara Lane - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I have read several of Louise Hay's books (including "You Can Heal Your Life") and have always been inspired by what she has to say. She's now in her 80's and she continues to speak of love and healing in all her books, including this one on meditations for the heart and soul.

This colorful little book of meditations starts out in classic Louise Hay style, with her introduction stating, "Remember, in the vast infinity of life, all is perfect, whole, and complete...and so are you."

She then goes on to provide meditations on numerous subjects, such as:

- I am willing to change and grow
- I bless my family with love
- My income is constantly increasing
- I love and accept myself right now
- There is a solution to every problem
- I am healthy and filled with energy...and many more

If you are already familiar with Louise Hay's work, I think you'll really enjoy this little book of meditations. If you're new to her work, by reading this book you'll come to see why she has touched so many people's lives.
