PBS has cut 10 minutes out of each episode!,

PBS has admitted to me that this is not what was aired on ITV, the British station that produces the program. PBS cuts 10 minutes out of each episode to ensure that it fits in PBS' 124 minute time slot. What's worse is that this deleted footage isn't restored for the DVD release.The "Inspector Morse" DVDs were produced by Carleton and included all the original footage, but PBS has exclusive rights to manufacturing and selling DVDs for "Inspector Lewis" in North America, so it's not even allowing a more honest company to serve fans. I refuse to buy this watered down version of "Lewis"; I'll wait for the day when ITV DVD in England manufactures blu ray discs of the series, which are region-free and which I'll be able to watch in North America.

I was disappointed to find this PBS version of this excellent BBC series is not complete - it is missing one episode - Counter Culture Blues - and has been edited by PBS for time.Unfortunately, the full series is not available in North America - and while this version is OK, it is very disappointing not to be able to view this series as it was aired on BBC.

Product was as expected - great. AND a very speedy delivery from BUYCDNOW - after I ordered from Amazon.ca and was told for over 2 months it was unavailable. It cost a very little extra; but, I got it, and got it speedily from BUYCDNOW - and not Amazon.ca. Sorry Amazon if the truth hurts [and they never did get back to me about my complaint]C Sparkes
