Amazing book... April 1 2000
By Rachel Adler - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is an amazong book that tells the stories behind some of musics most intriguiging lyrics, that all of us know and love. Gives real insight to the motivation of the bands/writers of the songs. A must if you are a hard-core music fan or the lyrics, not jus hte music itself.
Uninspired Writing Sept. 14 2014
By sonja powell - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I was very disaponted in this book. The reasons given for inspiration of these songs seem far fetched and contrived at best. The author seemed like he was not interested in the subject matter and it showed n the tone it was written . Many of the examples given must have been made up out of whole cloth because they were so unlikely and unenteresting; no one would have been inspired to write anything about the event. Save your money and let your own imagination reason why some writer wrote that song.

this was a big disappointment, maybe because i've read so many books like this. way too much visual junk and very little to read. i also didn't learn anything new.
