For anyone who is interested in racing cars, Nick Mason has a wonderful collection. The book describes the machines and the driving experience as well as how they were acquired.Photography is really well done and there is also a CD with the sound of each car. The cars include the F1 Ferrari that Gilles Villeneuve won his first GP in (Montreal 1978) a 250 TF Formula 1 Maserati from the 1950s and a Ferrari 250 GTO among others. Highly recommended

Once you've read this book, while listening to the included soundtrack, you'll say the same thing "I WANT TO BE NICK MASON"!!! He owns and drives the cars in the book. I'll never be able to do that, but thanks to Nick, he's providing the next best thing with this book. If you enjoy Vintage Race Cars, BUY THIS BOOK! Put the disc in the stereo, crank it up, read along and be taken for a ride!!!

I tried to get this book two years ago and was unable to at Christmas. I was so pleased to see that it was available this year for my son-in-law who loves cars. This was highly recommended two years ago and I can see why. The pictures are excellent! If you are a car buff, it is a great buy.
