HASH(0x9ec86828) out of 5 stars It's Just Okay Dec 28 2012

This is a textbook my students are required to use for a class I teach. I did not get to choose the book, it was chosen by other instructors prior to my arrival. Having purchased and kept many textbooks during my college days, I rate this as an OK overview of the fire service. I tell my students, even those that plan to continue in the fire service to sell it back, or use the bookstore's rental program rather than purchase.

I am going back to school and taking my intro to fire protection class. Prerequisite to the RCC Fire Academy. I found my text, Intro to Fire Protection, here on Amazon. Saved a ton of money and had my text book in my hands in only a couple of days. Will buy all my text books from Amazon from now on.

HASH(0x9ec8681c) out of 5 stars Good book Feb. 20 2007

What can I say about this book? It's required material for firefighting courses, although it's more than likely a few editions behind, and as with all other text books it's over priced. As far as firefighting text books go, this one is pretty good.
