Maybe my review will be biased because I'm a big fan of Inuyasha but I think it is well worthy of 5 stars. Though the movie is just a spin-off to the series, I feel that the story line help build some character development, especially in Kagome and Inuyasha. Again, this movie involves the usual Kagome getting into some sort of trouble and Inuyasha silently worrying about her but if you're a fan of the series, you'll like this movie, too.

I bought this movie a long time ago, and although it's not my favorite Inuyasha movie, it's still awesome.

I really have to say this movie rox!!!. It is amazing, fantastic, uplifting and the action is magnificent. What can I say, I really truly enjoyed it. I absolutely love Manga movies and Rumiko Takahashi, really knows how to write em'. I would love to do that someday. I am going to write and draw my own anime. I'm going to watch this movie again and again. Highly recommended. I also have, InuYasha Movie #2,The Castle Beyond The Looking Glass and InuYasha Movie #3, Swords of an Honorable Ruler, both are extremely enjoyable. A must see. I can't wait to see the 4th movie.

Absolutely wonderful!!!
This DVD is the perfect thing for all Inu fans. It is filled with the laughs and emotions of the series, yet it comes out of the Naraku line. Read more
