4.0 out of 5 stars Quality way outweights its price May 12 2011
By Justcruizing - Published on Amazon.com
I've been looking for a couple of months for a replacement casual watch and after a number of long tedious hours of online searching came across the Invicta brand. Initially I was a little suspect that a automatic could sell for around the $100.00 range and having had my mind set on a S&R $895.00 and a Swiss Army $415.00 both stunning I thought what the hell give this a try. When it arrived I was surprised at the size, a little bigger than anticipated. After reading a number of reviews on various blogs and sites there seemed to be so many conflicting story's floating around the web about the quality of their products. Well personally I've come to realize that this must be individuals that have bought expensive brands or brand loyal and just can't accept that a quality product can be produced for this price. I've had it for a month now, I love the reverse bezel, has a nice solid feel to it and the stainless steel seems top notch and I do NOT have a single scratch yet! it keeps time perfectly. The see through back adds a real feel of originality without sounding corny. There's a lovely shine to this without looking bling bling. If there is a negative it is on the heavy side but that's also due to the size. Also the rubber strap could be softer but like my old sports watch this will give. If you have small wrist do not buy this watch, it might start feeling uncomfortable due to its size as it will over extend beyond the width of your wrist. The quality however is surprisingly very good and i wish they made a size smaller with softer silicone rubber with the MOP included. This would be a killer deal if they did. I've subsequently purchased a few more Invicta models for friends and family and not one has arrived with a single fault. Interestingly a older friend remembers the brand from way back in his day and had good things to say about the brand. But most importantly, it makes me feel good and gives me a kick wearing it. I plan on follow up on this review in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars A PERFECT WATCH! Sep 21 2011

This is my first INVICTA watch. It won't be my last, as I have just orded another one. This watch keeps perfect time. It looks great, and gets lots of attention. People think I paid hundreds for this watch. What a deal. I'm waiting on my watch winder, but the watch has not stoped yet. I give it a few shakes (the watch that is) before I go to bed, and it's good to go the next day. "The Mother Of Pearl" is beautiful when the sun hits it just right. So far a GREAT divers watch. Thank you INVICTA. Thank you Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Invicta Pro Diver Automatic with Mother of Pearl Dial July 16 2011

When I saw this watch on clearance for under $100, I jumped on it.

Japanese automatic movement (Miyota, the toughest movement out there), no batteries, and a very readable display. For the first week I wore it, it sometimes would stop running after less than 12 hours off my wrist. I guess I must not have been as active as I thought. After changing jobs, it now runs 24 - 30 hours after I take it off. It is very accurate (about ten seconds fast per week) and I get compliments on it when people look close enough to see the mother-of-pearl dial.

My only wish for it to be "perfect" - a luminous tip on the seconds hand, or for the hand to be a lighter color. I find the blue seconds hand to not be as visible as it could be against the black MOP dial. Other than that, I LOVE this watch.
