I seldom feel motivated enough by a product to get up off my lazy butt and write a review about it, despite the fact that I rely so heavily on them while I'm in the shopping phase. Yeah, I'm one of those types of people. But I've been so pleased with this watch that I felt compelled to give back, at least a little bit, to the review community.
I'm an Omega Seamaster Professional owner who's been looking around for a suitable daily wear watch with a Swiss made automatic movement and sturdy construction for under $1,000 and have generally been disappointed by what I've found. During weeks of searching online, I kept coming back to the Invicta Reserve 1017 Pro Diver. I'd never owned an Invicta and reviews on the 1017 were scarce, but for the low price I figured it was worth a try. Couldn't have made a better choice.
It's got that solid, sturdy feel that I've come to love about high-end Swiss watches with a smooth Sellita SW200 movement. The details are clean and conservative enough that I can wear it at work in a corporate environment during the day, then take it out with jeans and a t-shirt at night or on the weekend. Very versatile.
Things I love: Solid weight and sturdy construction. Saphire composite crystals on front and back display windows. White superlume gives watch a classic appearance in the light, then glows blue in the dark which was new and different for me. The metal bracelet has screw in pins and is very sturdy, same with the clasp, no cheapness about it at all. It's right up there with the Omega bracelet and clasp in every aspect. Big face, at 47mm it's an attention grabber and looks very masculine. Water resistance to 500 meters, I'm never going to get that deep, but it's definitely peace of mind when I get rained on or if I forget to take it off at the pool.
Things that could be better: The bezel movement isn't as smooth as my Omega, but it's not bad either. Just an observation. The IR logo on the face is a bit big, I'm a fan of a more subtle brand marking, but again, it's not a deal breaker.
Overall this is a five star watch for me. For the price, which seems to hover between $350 and $500 here on Amazon, I don't believe you could find a higher quality, Swiss made watch anywhere. A very professional watch and well worth the money.

I've Been looking for a SWISS Auto for a long time for the right price. PROS: heavy, 500m water resistant, great feel, flat blade screws for the band which is very strong rather than the traditional pins, great lume that last all night, nice band clasp, 26 jewel swiss mvt.
CONS: only one haha the bezel, it feels flimsy in a scale of 6.5 out of 10. CONCLUSION...VERY IMPRESSIVE WATCH, STRONG, ITS GOT WEIGHT, THE HANDS ARE SHARP, AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WATCH FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT SWISS AUTOMATIC DIVE DRESS WATCH😎
