Big, Bold, Blue Oct. 11 2012
By Eric - Published on Amazon.com
This is my largest watch. It's kind of crazy big, in fact. But even my friend who found it too much at first has warmed to it. What saves it is how attractive and sleek it is. The gold plating, against that crisp, dark blue (which is all sunray, even in the little sub-dials) give this watch a solid, respectable feeling. And it's surprising comfortable, conforming well to the wrist without feeling too heavy or bulky. The band is just as a attractive, in a dark brown with contrast stitching that compliments the blue and gold of the dial well. I've never had a day and date watch with these complications (dials rather than windows) before, but after a period of adjustment I'm able to tell the calendar very well. The dates show every odd-numbered day, and the days of the week click around on their own. It's nice enough to go dressy or casual, you just have to wear it proudly.

Really want to love it June 20 2013

It's big and beautiful just like I had hoped but beware, they sent me a watch that was missing functionality (The dial on the side is supposed to have two or three positions to help you set the date but mine did not come with this function). This makes setting the date a very long, and painful process as you have to just continue to set your watch forward until and HOPE that the time and date end up matching. For example; Today is Thursday the 20th. My watch was not set to this day on arrival and since the functionality I mentioned before was missing, I have to keep winding the watch threw each individual day until I hit the 20th, then I have to see what day of the week it lands on. Did it land on Monday? Well it's not Monday, it's Thursday so you have to wind threw and entire month to get to the next 20th day. Rinse and repeat until you FINALLY make it to the correct date. They also sent me an instruction manual for seemingly every model of Invicta watches save the one I received so it was of no help at all.

Watch is larger than I anticipated. Date dial is very hard to read.
