5.0 out of 5 stars Works great. Sale price terrific. Feb 19 2012
I was going to build my own DVR expander, as I had done with the other box I have in the house, but to get the appropriate hard drive and enclosure would have cost double what I paid for the Iomega expander when it was recently on sale on this site. Works flawlessly, without any stuttering. Very happy with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars noisy Feb 16 2012

Purchased product in January because of great price. Can hear drive working hard during recording and there's a constant high-pitch sound that can be heard during off times. Expected unit to be quieter than it is.

This unit worked right out of the box. My PVR saw it on a reboot. Now the wife can record up to 600 hrs non HD or about 90 HD.

Plugged it in, followed directions and worked first time as promised. Con: Videotron web access does not recognize extra space, so I could not add programs to be recorded.
