This book is not only a great read for those with ADD but also those around them...spouses, family, friends etc. As a partner of a man who is in the early stages of confirmation of diagnosis and treatment I found it a relief to better understand as the book title says, what was me and what was him, and what was the ADD. It takes stigma away and provides lots of real life examples. Undersanding and patience is key for everyone involved. Especially if your an adult on the journey to diagnosis and treatment and or those closest to them. Trust me. It gets better. Knowledge isnt power, it's how and if you apply the knowledge. Good luck.

This book really hits the mark for me. I wish that I had read it years ago. I have shared it with a friend who has also found it to be a revelation. I recommend it to anyone who suffers from adult ADD as well as anyone in a relationship with someone who suffers from adult ADD. It is very easy to read, absorb and relate to. Kudos to the author!!!

It's opened my eyes up to the finer details of ADHD. I am beginning to find my husband again behind what I didn't realize were symptoms of ADHD. He's not doing it all on purpose!
