Volume 2 of a two-volume commentary on Jeremiah. In the face of the terrible coming destruction of Jerusalem, Jeremiah proclaims that God's resilient power is at work "to build and to plant." B offers a fresh look at theological issues in the Jeremiah tradition. This commentary on Jeremiah is also a commentary on our struggle to be faithful in today's world. Very good stuff. Highly recommended.
