Very, very funny movie.. Meryl Streep is at her best comic self.. Alec Baldwin is surprisingly funny and Steve Martin is reserved in the role of architect/ potential love interest, but has some very funny scenes with Streep.The secondary characters especially the son in law are well acted- he is very funny as the witness who is confused as to where his loyalties should lie.. I recommend the movie highly to people who like intelligent romantic comedies..especially about middle aged people.However I feel it could appeal to anyone who enjoys well- written, well-acted, romantic comedies..

Its Complicated
For anyone under 45 this is a fun comedy but the story really resonates with the over 45 crowd. Lots of real-life complications & not quite finished relationship business fuels this story. I will be rewatching it quite a number of times.

Very entertaining and believable!Both Streep and Baldwin are excellent-very well matched!It's fast paced and easy to follow.I prefer movies which are believable not all gussied up and glamourus!When people get older they are a little wrinkled and tend to put on a little weight!Highly recommend this for both sexes!
