I've been looking for a well made wooden rolling pin for years now, since I'm now married and doing the housewife thing, I'm baking much more than I used to.

When I lived with my parents, I just used my mom's pin, which she's had for decades now.

Hoping that I would get lucky enough to find a wooden pin that I could have for eternity, I ordered this one. It's a perfect size and weight for everything from homemade pasta, pie crusts, cookies, etc.

Not to mention that it's a great price. If you're in the market, you will not be disappointed with this. The support goes all the way through the pin, so you don't get wobbly handle syndrome, and the handles are flush to the pin so you don't get dough buildup in the cracks either.

I've never baked so much!

Oh and a quick tip, if your crusts/doughs are sticking to your counter top, use fishing line or waxed, unflavored dental floss to get under and release the dough.

Happy Baking!

I've owned this pin now for two years. I had three children five and under and it's survived all their abuse. Like all the other kitchen gadgets we keep finding this under a bed or in a kid's closet but unlike the other stuff this hasn't broken or bent.

I know the product description gives measurements, so I should have known, but this rolling pin seemed so small to me; really too small to be that effective. Also, it was really light, which made it seem flimsy and as if it would be less effective. It also seems to me that dough would get stuck between the handles and the pin, as there is a relatively large gap. All in all, although there's nothing wrong with it per se, I wasn't thrilled with this pin.
