I love the book James and the Giant Peach because James experiences so much excitement (sometimes good, sometimes bad) for example. his mom and dad getting eaten alive by a rhinoceros. Then he is sent to live with his mean ratty tatty aunts. Aunt Sponge and Ant Spike.
Well, what a surprise! Did those magic things with the crocodile tongues, lizard eyeballs, the fingers of a young monkey, and much more really truly work? Well find out by reading James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. If you have already read this book I recommend these other books by Roald Dahl: Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, The Twits, The Witches, Matilda, Fantastic Mr. Fox , The BFG, Danny the World Champion, and George's Marvellous Medicine. I love Roald Dahl and I think he is a great author!

I purchased this book for my older son. It came well within the promised time frame and is in great shape even though it is used. My son loves the book and he had read the first three chapters in the first day.

When I read James and the Giant peach for the first time I loved it! it was adventurous and exciting! I loved how the writer made the creatures so interesting. Also she made the aunts look evil as was explainedin the book. I just wanted to reach in the book and yell at them! The book was kind-off mythical when james got to the cloud men. I could read that book over and over again and I would never get bored!
