I bought this for my wife. She loves the quotes on each page and the authentic appearance. The paper is high quality and has a nice feel.

Jane Austen Address Book May 1 2008

Smart, womanly advice of the time period & "Austen" witty remarks included on each section! Love the size, very functional & sturdy construction of the book! Reminds you of all the differences women have endured over time, & how far they have come! Will use & cherish this for a long time! A collector piece if you love Jane Austen!!!

Too heavy and awkward Jan. 21 2009
By Lentils Savory - Published on Amazon.com
Although I am a fan of Jane Austen, my purpose in buying this product was to replace my very worn address book. This product looks very charming, but, alas, it is very heavy for a portable address book, and so thickly bound it is difficult to maneuver, both when adding and finding addresses. I also did not like the thumbsize indentations which replaced alphabet tabs, making finding a specific name a rather imprecise game of chance.

Very small. Jan. 2 2013

It's very small. It's more like a pocket address book. I wouldn't recommend it.But, it's cute if that's what you're looking for.

The Jane Austen Address Book - A great addition to anyone in need of an address book . Young or old you will enjoy such an elegant address book that will be the envy of all even if not a fan of Jane Austen. A great gift idea.
Fabulous little address book- perfect for any Jane Austen fan, though quite small. Oct. 13 2014

Such a cute little address book. If you are unsure of what it looks like, just google Jane Austen Address Book and it will come up under images - not sure why there are no photos on Amazon.

It is small - about the same length as my iPhone with an otter box on, and the width is about 1 1/2 of an iPhone's width.

Each letter has a cute little quote from Jane or one of her books.

It also has a tight elastic so that you can keep the book closed, though if it's kept in a drawer I wouldn't see the need for it - handbag yes, I would use it so the pages didn't get damaged by all my other stuff.

There are 15 - 21 spots for each letter (I just counted A & S, not all of them) and the details for the spots are as follows:

Name, Address, Home, Cell, Work, Fax, Email.

I don't know a lot of people, and those I do know don't use Home or Fax, so I won't be using them, but otherwise it's perfect for what I need it for, and it's just a bonus that it's Jane Austen related. If you know hundreds and hundreds of people and you need all of their addresses, this might not be for you.

But if you are a Jane Austen fan and need a place to keep the addresses of your nearest and dearest (and then some) in one spot, this is a fabulous buy (and only eight dollars).

If you are considering as a gift - do it, any Jane Austen fan would be delighted to receive it.
