Ms. Maxwell writes a very interesting story of how though we may speak the same language it does not always mean we will understand each other. The planet Menx must soon decide for or against membership in the Galactic Concord. Thus begins Rhane's personal quest back to a planet he is haunted by. He must form a truce with Shiya and try to understand the mysteries of the forbidden mountains where only the gods survive. For only then can he hope to learn from the complex differences between cultures.
