2009 release from one of the best MCs in the world. Over the past decade, very few MCs have matched his longevity, especially within the last five years. Jealous Ones Still Envy has the usual supporting cast of A-level producers and guest artists including Lil Wayne, Akon and Ron Browz. This album will take Fat Joe to the next level and make the world stand up and recognize the era of Crillz Mania has finally arrived.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fat Joe is Nice... Dec 31 2002
Format:Audio CD
Jealous One's Still Envy is gutter hip hop. You know what I mean...non-commercial and hard core. The beats are slamming and the lyrics are solid. True heads miss CD's like this...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic among the others! Nov 19 2001
Format:Audio CD
This album is a pleasurable experience thorugh ryhmes that are mature, yet rugged....beats that are funky, yet hard...and aura that is definelty Hip-hop! Wether you crave mental stimulation, need a beat to floss around your neighborhood, or a street corner worker that lacks but seeks hope out your dilemma, this album delivers for all of you! Big ups and infinite repsect to Fat Joe!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fat Joke April 8 2001
Format:Audio CD
Okay, that comment may be a bit harsh but I do recommend treading carefully if you're considering buying this album. Content-wise, Jealous One's Envy is a pretty one-dimensional representation of the East Coast thug experience. Fat Joe doesn't possess a captivating style of rhyme nor is he able to grab your attention with his storytelling ability. The beats generally carry this album but when they falter, the album simply drags.
