Many years ago I made a plant purchase at a K-Mart store and was given a complimentary brochure written by "Jerry Baker" regarding lawn and plant care.During that period of time in my life I had a lot of time to spare so I usd the recommeded recipes for root deveopment and thatch control. By the end of the season my lawn was so thick that there were no weeds.
I moved away from there , lost the brochure and lost interest . Several years ago I purchased a home and the lawn needed attention asap so I used the normal 4 season application system that's marketed under various brand names and the yard got worse and worse. I got on line and ordered Jerry's lawn care book and can't make enough positive comments .
It's a book full of homemade recipes that are nontoxic and a wealth of information that identifies problems and gives a solution for each problem. I wish I had purchased the book sooner.

Bought for my spouse. He read through this book and immediately made a list of the items to buy so he could mix the various solutions to put on the lawn. It is a very good, inexpensive way to feed your lawn and let the beauty of the lawn come through!

I actually bought this for my husband who has gotten many good tips and ideas about getting our lawn into better shape. It's a must for anyone who wants to learn how to grow and show off their lawns.
