Once again TS plays Jesse Stone so well. Perfectly cast as the life/world weary Jesse.Very laid back. Not as twisty and turning as previous outings. The storyline seemed to have been pared down to the barest minimum. The title Thin Ice reflects the thin ice he appears to be on with the council and the thin ice reference to the missing child ties it in. His love/hate relationship with his ex wife still pervades his life but despite all this he still upholds the moral high ground in Paradise (something the city council is short of) Loved the fine supporting cast in Cathy Baker and young Suddolph. I enjoyed it. Eagerly waiting for the next instalment.

This movie is very good as are the rest of the movies in the Jesse Stone series. Tom Selleck is Jesse Stone. He plays the part so well. I can't think of anyone else who could play the part as well.
